• Church Luncheons - Everyone is welcome to our weekly Church Luncheons after each morning worship service!  This is a great time of breaking bread & fellowship with one another.  Everyone is encouraged to invite others to church & lunch!  ALL ARE WELCOME!!  We will announce in the weekly bulletins (& online) what the weekly “theme” will be … just for fun!  Feel free to bring a dish (doesn't have to go with the theme) ...  if you want to share, but not required!  What a wonderful opportunity to show the love of Jesus to others!
    • 4/28 -  "Church Grill Out" - April Birthdays & Anniversaries Celebrated!  (Feel free to bring a picnic side, dessert and/or meat to grill.  We will provide grilled chicken, hamburgers & hot dogs.  Also, feel free to bring a lawn chair, as we have limited picnic tables - thank you!) **If it is raining, the luncheon will be indoors.

  • 4/27 - Childhood Memory Activities - (Saturday, 2:00 pm) - Pastor Loren would love anyone who is interested in this vital ministry to the senior residents at St. John's (Fountain Lake).  Please contact Pastor Loren if you would like more details.
  • 4/28 - Band of Brothers Group - (Sunday, Noon) - Calling all men ages 14 – 94+ ... On the fourth Sunday of each month, after the morning worship service, we have a platoon just for you!   Iron sharpens iron, and this will be a great time to grow together and build comradery.  Come and be a part of a brotherhood!  Also, there won't be a luncheon after service (due to continued kitchen demo); however, there will be food for the men upstairs in the Living Room!
  • 5/2 - National Day of Prayer - Everyone is encouraged to join in these blessed events (see schedule below):
    • 12:00 pm (Noon) - Meet at the Albert Lea courthouse flagpole
    • 6:30 pm - Prayer rally will be held at Hope Church - 244 Broadway Ave (Childcare will be provided for children 10-years-old and younger)
  • 5/6 - Crafting with Girlfriends - (Monday, 1:00 pm) - Ladies, be sure and mark your calendars for this last crafting day until September (as we do not have these during the summer months).  Stay tuned for a preview of the next fun craft!
  • 5/11 - Men's Breakfast - (Saturday, 8:00 am) - On the second Saturday of each month the Men of ALAG gather together at the Main Street Family Restaurant! Come and join us men for a time of food and fellowship!
  • 5/13 - Food Donations for "The Rock" - (Week of 5/13) - Albert Lea Assembly of God has committed providing snacks for the youth at Youth for Christ's The Rock on the 2nd week of each month  Anyone is welcome to join us in this ministry!  Suggested items include cookies & bars (homemade or purchased), fruit, vegetables, chips (individual packages) or treats that kids enjoy. You may either bring in your items on Sunday, 4/7, or they may be dropped off directly at The Rock after 10:00 am, Monday – Friday of that week.  If the Lord places it on your heart to donate, it will be greatly appreciated!
  • 5/24 - Church Movie Night - "The Chosen" - (Friday, 6:00 pm) - Everyone is invited to this exciting FREE all-church movie night, featuring Season 4, Episodes 5 & 6 of "The Chosen!"  We even have a concession stand with free popcorn & water (as well as candy & pop for $1/each).  Be sure and invite your friends, family, neighbors ... anyone to this wonderful evening!
